Cancellation Policy

Baby Experts Service Terms & Cancellation Policy Thank you for choosing Baby Experts. These terms apply to our in-home lactation consultations, virtual lactation consultations, virtual pumping education sessions, and virtual prenatal breastfeeding education sessions. **Booking & Payment** Your selected appointment time is subject to RN availability. We make every effort to maintain your requested time and avoid changes. If a change is necessary, we will always work with you to find an alternative appointment time that works for you. Payment is due at booking unless otherwise arranged. Prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable GST. **Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds** If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to reschedule your appointment to a time that works for you, without additional fees. If you choose to cancel rather than reschedule, a **full refund will be provided when the appointment is cancelled before the scheduled appointment time**. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. We understand that babies are unpredictable and plans can change. If you or your baby are unwell or an unexpected situation arises, please let us know and we will work with you to find another suitable time. **In-Home & Virtual Appointments** In-home appointments require a safe and appropriate environment and access to the home. Appointments outside Edmonton may be subject to additional travel costs. We make every effort to assign an RN located in or near your area to minimize or eliminate additional travel costs whenever possible. If a travel fee is required, we will advise you before your appointment. If you prefer not to pay the additional fee, we will work with you to provide virtual support whenever appropriate. For virtual appointments, you are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, camera/microphone, and private space. **Scope of Service** Baby Experts lactation services are provided by **Registered Nurses actively licensed to practice in Alberta**. Our RNs provide individualized assessment, education, clinical guidance, and support related to breastfeeding, lactation, pumping, and infant feeding, in accordance with applicable professional standards, competencies, and our individual scope of practice.
