LACTATION TEAM

Caitlin Garcia

Caitlin Garcia

RN, BScN, IBCLC

Caitlin has been a Registered Nurse since 2006, and made the switch to NICU when her own babies had extended stays in 2014 & 2015. That is where she developed a deep respect for the art and science of breastfeeding. She loves supporting families with a collaborative approach where together you will make feeding a productive, enjoyable, and rewarding time for everyone.
Jenny Walters

Jenny Walters

RN, BScN, IBCLC

Jenny started out in the NICU as a Registered Nurse in 2019. Through her work experiences she discovered a love of supporting parents as they learn new skills. Through her own experiences with motherhood and early breastfeeding she became passionate about supporting others on this journey. She has two children and a plethora of knowledge to share. Jenny is currently a Lactation Trainee and will be writing the IBCLC Exam in spring 2026. She believes in caring for the family as a whole and that mental health should always be a priority postpartum.
Kimberly Gleason

Kimberly Gleason

Kim began her nursing career in 1982 and in 1985 made the serendipitous move from General Surgery to the NICU and Neonatal Transport Team. After taking time away to raise her three boys, one of whom is on the Autism spectrum, she returned to the NICU. Throughout her career she has been passionate about supporting families in feeding their babies in the way that works best for them and helping them meet their feeding goals. Kim has a calm and gentle approach that enables her to connect with families and share her professional expertise, with the goal to make feeding a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
Sheena Sadoway

Sheena Sadoway

RN, BScN, Lactation Counselor

Sheena began her nursing career in 2007 as a NICU/PICU Registered Nurse. From the moment she entered the NICU, she felt a deep connection to the babies and families she cared for and quickly developed a profound love for developmental care and lactation support. She then experienced her own journey as a mother to preterm babies which offered her a unique perspective, deepening her empathy and understanding of the challenges parents face. Her own breastfeeding journeys further fuelled her desire to advocate for and support other families navigating similar paths. Driven by her passion for neonatal care, Sheena has dedicated herself to not only providing clinical expertise but also offering emotional and practical support to parents, guiding them through the early days of their babies lives.
